SPECIAL WINDOW FOR TRANSFER AND DEMATERIALISATION OF PHYSICAL SECURITIES
Special Window for Transfer and Dematerialisation of Physical Securities
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), vide Circular dated 30 January 2026, has opened a Special Window for transfer and dematerialisation of physical securities.
The Special Window shall remain open from 5 February 2026 to 4 February 2027.
Eligibility
The Special Window is available for transfer and dematerialisation of physical securities which were sold or purchased prior to 1 April 2019, subject to the conditions prescribed by SEBI.
The facility is also available for eligible transfer requests which were submitted earlier but were rejected, returned or not attended to because of deficiencies in documents, process or otherwise.
Important Information
- Securities transferred through this Special Window shall be credited to the transferee only in dematerialised form.
- Such securities shall remain under lock-in for a period of one year from the date of registration of transfer.
- Investors should submit the applicable documents and forms as prescribed by SEBI and the Company's Registrar and Share Transfer Agent.
